Afterwards, use a piece of wire to connect pin "A" and pin "B". This will make sure that both inputs are the same value. Now connect one lead of the push switch to input "A" and connect the other lead of the switch to the 5v rail. Next, connect a resistor from pin "B" to the ground rail. This resistor will make the defualt value of the inputs "0" or low. When the switch is pressed, it will make the inputs high or "1".
