Test it Step 5 of 5
Connect 12v to your positive and negative posts on the breadboard. You should see the red LED light up for the relaxed state connection, meaning the coil is not energized.
When you push the button, you will here the click of the relay meaning the switch is being pushed by the magnetic force of the energized coil. When you take your finger off the button, you will hear the click of the relay and the relay coil will no longer be energized.
