Add switch and connectors Step 7 of 8
Connect the 9th pin of the IC to the middle post of the SPST switch and the other post to the positive strip. I left enough wire to play with and I found it sufficient to just twist the wire around the switch posts.
I decided to attach extension wire to attach the stereo connectors. Soldering them to the board would have stressed out the joints and reduced flexibility when choosing a case. I opted to give a lot of length to the wires since it would be easier to shorten the wires if needed.
