Is the PL connection purely to light the LED?

Hi

I was wondering what the acronym PL stands for on the PCB? It appears looking at the tracks that this just provides a connection to GND for the LED when the pedal is active - so 'Pedal LED'?

Is that its sole purpose?

When used with the Footswitch 3PDT PCB, where does the PL from the SHO PCB connect?

Yes if you look at where the trace goes it's just to that little pad you connect that to your power input to the board from the foot switch and it will light when the foot switches in the on position for the pedal some of the other boards sold here are the same you could also if you buy the PCB that incorporates the power connector the light and the foot switch instead of putting the light on the PCB for the switch you could just connect it to the PL pad on this board
